Useful guidance before a shopping link

Our guides explain practical questions such as comparing size charts, choosing clothing for an occasion, checking fabric and care information, and understanding delivery and returns. We link to the retailer or other original source where readers can check the information for themselves.

We distinguish researched guidance from personal experience. Unless an article describes a specific product test, it should be read as researched information, not a claim that we have worn, washed or professionally fitted the products. Illustrations are not photographs of the garments offered for sale.

What the clothing finder can tell you

The clothing finder brings together listings from participating retailers. Product photographs, listed sizes and prices come from retailer information. A retailer’s overall size range does not mean every item is available in every size. Always check the exact product, size, colour, stock, price and returns conditions with the seller before ordering.

Size labels are a starting point, not a guarantee of fit. Compare the individual garment’s information with your measurements and the retailer’s own guidance. Our finder covers the retailers currently included; it is not a complete comparison of every shop or product.

How the site is funded
